Maryland Institute College of Art

Founded in 1826, MICA is among the top visual arts colleges in the nation. The College enrollment consists of students from 44 states and 49 foreign countries. MICA offers programs of study leading to the bachelor of fine arts (B.F.A.), master of arts (M.A.), and master of fine arts (M.F.A.) degrees, as well as post-baccalaureate certificate programs and a full slate of credit and noncredit courses for adults, college-bound students, and children. MICA is recognized as an important cultural resource for the Baltimore/Washington region, sponsoring many public and community-outreach programs-including more than 100 exhibitions by students, faculty, and nationally and internationally known artists annually-as well as artists’ residencies, film series, lectures, readings, and performances.

Maryland State Arts Council

Jubilee Arts is funded in part by an operating grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive.  The mission of MSAC is to encourage and invest in the advancement of the arts for the people of Maryland. The goals of the Council are to support artists and arts organizations in their pursuit of artistic excellence, to ensure the accessibility of the arts to all citizens, and to promote statewide awareness of arts resources and opportunities.

Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts

Jubilee Arts has been funded by the Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and the Baltimore Office of Promotion and The Arts.

The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, produces events and arts programs as well as manages several facilities. It is the official Baltimore City Arts Council. BOPA coordinates Baltimore’s major events including New Year’s Eve and July 4th celebrations at the Inner Harbor, Artscape which is America’s largest free arts festival, Baltimore Book Festival, Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar, School 33 Art Center’s Open Studio Tour and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade.
