Dancing For A Cause, September 17, 2016

Inn at the Colonnade, 4 W. University Parkway, Baltimore, MD 21218

6-8:00p premium ticket; 8:30pm- 12am after party ticket

Put on your dancing shoes and learn about the beautiful dances birthed in the streets of Harlem and adapted throughout the country. Currently, they are taught at Jubilee Arts as a way to preserve and revive the legacy of the African-American arts community while also celebrating the venues where those dances were once performed on historic Pennsylvania Avenue in West Baltimore. This unique dance will raise funds for Jubilee Arts, a community based program offering dance, visual arts, creative writing and ceramics as a catalyst for social change, using art as a tool for empowerment, community building, learning history and changing the future. Tickets can be purchased here.
