Youth in Business (YiB) is a program at Jubilee Arts that cultivates the entrepreneurial leadership skills of high school aged youth by providing hands on experience operating an art-based business. Through the Youth in Business design collective, youth learn how to run a successful business as a team, selling high quality art products achieving cooperative financial sustainability for youth business owners. Youth are supported in leadership development within the program in addition to career and higher education planning support to provide youth long term economic independence.
Donations
Jubilee Arts offers classes in visual arts, dance, ceramics and business in partnership with Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts (BOPA), area artists and writers, and dancers.
Jubilee Arts is a catalyst for social change, using art as a tool for empowerment, community building, learning our history and changing our future.

She is a source of energy for her community and people around her. She brings in knowledge, culture and love.

- Lead Artist: LaToya Peoples Intern: Desiree Thaniel Youth Artist: Abigail Aranda Lopez, Moenira Baker, Sydne Frazier, Nyjae Johnson, Terrell Lowther, Jamal Mason Jr., Timothy Norris Jr, Damontae Taylor, Emmanuel Wood Address: 5322 Cuthbert Ave Title: Ode to Park Heights Description: This mural features three youth, representing the future, looking over the Park Heights community. The homes and business are designed to spell out Park Heights in 3D letters. Down on the street will be the scene of a block party, where ideas of non-violence and community unity are expressed in the interactions and symbolism of the figures.

The artworks purpose is to motivate and inspire the people to think about abundance, time and unity.
