Genifer Fraser, Program Director

Genifer Fraser is a Maryland-based community artist and educator who uses a multitude of mediums and expressive colors to create paintings, installations, and immersive experiences. In 2016, she graduated with a B.A. in Art History, a second major in African American Studies, a minor in History, and a certificate in Community Engagement from Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2021, she earned her MFA in Community Arts at the Maryland Institute College of Art and completed two terms in the Community Art Collaborative AmeriCorps Program as the Community Artist in Residence at Port Discovery Children’s Museum. She hopes to continue to expand her craft, pushing the themes of her work with the goals of meaningful social engagement and empathy building in mind.

Todd Marcus, Executive Director
Intersection of Change

Todd is a community activist, musician, and resident of Jubilee Arts’ Sandtown-Winchester community since 1997. He is the Executive Director of Intersection of Change (IOC), which is the umbrella organization that includes Jubilee Arts, Martha's Place, and Strength to Love II. As a musician, Marcus is a bass clarinetist, composer, and bandleader whose music often incorporate the Middle Eastern influences of his Egyptian-American heritage. He actively leads several ensembles including his Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra, Quartet, Trio, and Duo and was selected as a 2014 winner of a Baker Artist Award.

HOPE McCorkle, Program Coordinator

HOPE is an award-winning transdisciplinary artist, educator, muralist, and performer whose work serves as a portal for healing. She holds a BFA in Studio Art and Psychology from New York University. Blending storytelling with painting, collage, movement, and sculpture, HOPE explores themes of memory, mental health, and shadow work to create emotionally immersive, transformative art. She is also one half of Hope and Faith , an interdisciplinary collective with her twin sibling, FAITH. Together, they create scrolls, films, installations, and public programs that honor healing, Black motherhood, spirit, soul food, and collective consciousness. HOPE is deeply committed to creative education and building community through intergenerational, collaborative experiences.

Keyarra Johnson, Youth in Business Interim Program Manager

Keyarra leads the Youth in Business (YiB) project and is herself a proud alum of the program. She values that the art and business aspect of a cooperative go hand in hand, and she feels it is important to use the skills she's learned to strengthen YiB and her community. In her spare time she works on developing her skills as an animator and in game design. She makes extra money by working as a freelance graphic designer and also owns a business creating decorative crafts and mosaics. She hopes to one day run a successful game developing company.
