Jubilee Arts has a partnership with Villa Maria to offer  therapy to children and families. This service is available to people eligible or already have medical assistance insurance. Learn more here, referral form here and you will be connected to Jubilee Arts’ assigned therapist.

  • Evictions are halted in Baltimore City per Mayor Young. For more information, you can contact Baltimore City Rental Eviction Sheriff Services 410-396-7412.
  • Fair Housing Action Center of Maryland works to ensure landlords, lenders, realtors, and property managers are in compliance with the Fair Housing Act, and works to ensure tenants across Maryland are living in safe and healthy housing.The Tenant and Fair Housing Intake Line is available Tuesday through Friday, from 10 AM until 2 PM: 443-203-8248.

UTILITIES

  • The executive order by Governor Hogan on March 16th prohibits utilities, such as electric, gas, water, sewer, cable, internet and phone lines, to be cut off nor incur late fees.
  • Baltimore City and County will halt water shutoffs for failure to pay.
  • BGE is suspending service disconnections and waiving new late payment charges through May 1st.
    • Energy Assistance: Community members may apply for energy assistance online or call 410-396-6406.
  • Comcast will provide 2 months of free internet services. Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, new Internet Essentials customers will receive two free months of Internet service. The following policies will be put in place and will stay in effect for the next 60 days.
    • Xfinity WiFi Free For Everyone: Xfinity WiFi hotspots across the country will be available to anyone who needs them for free – including non-Xfinity Internet subscribers. For a map of Xfinity WiFi hotspots, visit: xfinity.com/wifi. Once at a hotspot, consumers should select the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available hotspots, and then launch a browser.
    • No Disconnects or Late Fees: We will not disconnect a customer’s internet service or assess late fees if they contact us and let us know that they can’t pay their bills during this period. Our care teams will be available to offer flexible payment options and can help find other solutions.
    • Internet Essentials Free to NewCustomers: It’s now easier for low-income families who live in a Comcast service area to sign-up for Internet Essentials, the nation’s largest and most comprehensive broadband adoption program. New customers will receive 60 days of complimentary Internet Essentials service, which is normally available to all qualified low-income households for $9.95/month.
